For five (5) years from the purchase of a TUMI product from our travel, business or bag collections or two (2) years for any wallet or accessory from an authorized TUMI store or dealer, you will be covered by a limited warranty.
The TUMI warranty is simple and complete and is only part of the overall TUMI ownership experience. If you have additional questions, send an email to servicetumi@sarafidisgroup.gr.
With limited exceptions, if your TUMI product has been damaged in the first twelve (12) months including damage caused by normal wear, aviation management or other transit damage, TUMI will cover all repair costs, including installation our repair. If we find that the product has been damaged beyond repair, we will replace it. If we find that a replacement product is not available, we will offer you a product of comparable value. Damages that are not covered are damages resulting from abuse, aesthetic damage (such as scratched skin or dyed fabrics and accidental or consequential damages, such as damage or loss of the contents of a bag, loss of use, loss of time or similar costs).
Two to five years in travel bags, business bags, backpacks, two years for wallets, accessories and outer covers: You are covered in construction defects and normal wear.
From the second to the fifth year that you have a TUMI type of travel, business or other bag and from the second year for wallets or accessories, TUMI will repair any item that has been damaged due to normal wear or defective material or construction, including any structural defects (such as defective handles, zippers or locks). We do not cover damages caused by airlines. Other damages that are not covered are damage resulting from mistreatment, aesthetic damage (such as scratched leather or dyed fabrics and accidental or consequential damage, such as damage or loss of the contents of a bag, loss of use, loss of time or similar costs). TUMI Outerwear does not include lost buttons, torn fabrics or skins as described above.
Your sole responsibility is to send your item to us for repair, pay postage or take it to a TUMI store. Many repairs can be done at the TUMI store free of charge. If your item needs to be sent to our unit, we will repair it quickly and return it at no extra cost to you. In the event that our warranty does not apply, your local service center will provide you with an estimate of any repairs and refunds that may be incurred. We offer courteous and prompt service and high quality repairs and renovations at a reasonable cost. If we can not repair the bag, we will suggest alternatives. Contact your local service center before sending your product for repair or refurbishment to discuss shipping and handling costs and other charges.
The bottom line is that at TUMI, we are absolutely committed to keeping you happy with our products and services. Save the purchase receipt. This will be needed to prove that the warranty is covered.
